All videos recorded or submitted to HI-YA.com are thereon owned by HI-YA.com.  The fee that a fan pays to request a video is a licence to view and share that video, the ownership belongs to HI-YA.com.  No one can sell or profit from any videos without the express agreement and permission of HI-YA.com.

Celebrities can freely use HI-YA.com as and when they want.
Celebrities set and change their price or any other details freely at anytime they choose.
Celebrities are not held to any contracts nor are bound to any agreements and can close their accounts at anytime.
Celebrities can use HI-YA.com to generate money for their charities, themselves or both.
Celebrities will be paid by Paypal instantly after recording each video or at regular intervals.
The payments can be sent to either themselves, their charities, their agents or managers.  Celebrities/Managers are responsible for paying VAT

Expected Waiting Time: From a few hours to a few weeks, However this cannot be guaranteed due to Celebrities’ individual schedules and changing circumstances. You can cancel your request at anytime for a full refund if you need it for a specific date or for any other reason.

1. You May Have To Be Patient 

Most videos are done within a few hours to a few days to a few weeks.  Celebrities get weekly reminders of their requests. However, due to busy schedules they may not be able to record as often as they had planned. If you are patient you should get your video within a reasonable timeframe. If you cannot wait then you can cancel for a full refund at anytime with the click of a button. If celebrities stop recording videos in a timely manner and on a regular basis we will ask them if they want to remain on the site and if they do not start recording videos or tell us that they are currently too busy we may remove them from the site or temporarily and pause their account.

2. Celebrities May Not Include All Of The Information That You Provide 

They will pick and choose what to say based on their personality and how they think they can make the most interesting video for you.

3. The Length Of The Videos Varies

Sometimes a video may be around 15, 30 or 60 seconds long, sometimes even up to 2 to 10 minutes. This will depend upon the information given and how the individual celebrity thinks they can do the most interesting video. 

4. The Video Will Be Smartphone Or Webcam Quality

Celebrities will record videos using their phones or computer webcams so the quality will depend on the device that they use and the internet connection they have at the time.

5. The Celebrity May Pronounce Some Names Wrong/Make Other Mistakes

They will work off of the information given to them. We may on occasion be able to get a celebrity to re-record a video depending on the mistake.

Unrealistic Expectations

What is the status of my request? When will I get it? I need it urgently for this Thursday! Am I going to get it on time?

We cannot say for definite. The waiting time depends upon the individual celebrity. If you do not get it by Thursday then you can cancel it and get a full refund.

My video was only 10 seconds long and they didn’t mention my Auntie’s dog’s name!

Celebrities do not always include all of the information that you provide. We cannot guarantee a specific length of video.

The quality of the video is not very good! Can they re-record it in a different angle with different lighting!

The personal aspect of the site means that videos are done on smartphones over an internet connection. We do not offer high definition videos from professional studios.

Video Ownership

You can enjoy and share your video but cannot profit from it without the express permission and agreement from HI-YA.com. When you pay to request a video you are paying for a licence to watch and share the video. The ownership of the video remains with HI-YA.com.

1. Customers will use a valid email address to place their order which we can use to contact them if needed

2.  Customers will only use valid payment methods that belong to them. If the card they are using to place the order does not belong to them then they will have gained the cardholder’s permission before making the order.

HI-YA.com, at its sole discretion, may determine whether (or not) Your content will be included, and reserves the right to edit, or amend, any content submitted by You. You warrant that you are permitted to submit the content to the website, and that you will not submit, post on the website, or email any material in breach of any law, any obscene, explicit, pornographic, inflammatory material, or any material that could otherwise give rise to criminal or civil proceedings. You agree (and warrant) that you will only provide information to HI-YA.com if you own all of the intellectual property rights in that information. 7. Celebrity Sign-up and verification

You can sign-up as a celebrity on HI-YA.com by completing the sign-up form. You must provide a valid email address.  Once you are onboarded, you agree not to provide your password to any third parties. Registration of the website is free. You record your example video so that we can confirm that you are you. We will contact you if it is not clear and may ask for more evidence.

8. Future changes

This Agreement will be reviewed and may be revised. HI-YA.com reserves the right to change this agreement at any time, and revoke your registration. Any changes to this agreement will be posted on the Terms of Service web page. Your continued use of the website will constitute your acceptance of the variation of the agreement (at HI-YA.com sole discretion) without notice to You.

9. Downtime

Website down-time, either scheduled or unscheduled, may occur on occasions. HI-YA.com will work within reason to ensure this amount of down-time is limited. HI-YA.com will not be held liable for the consequences of any down-time.

10. Intellectual Property

Reproduction of part or all of the contents in any form of the website is prohibited other than for individual use only, and the contents of this website may not be copied or otherwise shared with any third parties. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HI-YA.com, its contractors, and its licensors, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising out of your use of the Website, including but not limited to your violation of this Terms of Service.

13. Termination

HI-YA.com reserves the right to cease providing services at any time.
HI-YA.com shall not be liable to you for any cost, expense, or damages whatsoever for terminating this Agreement.

14. Governing law

These Terms of Service will be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law.

15. Definitions
